October programs presented colorful, autumn drives through Cordoba, Spain & Watertown, Massachusettes found on the Lambda Learning page under "Programs" . The Ritual of the Roses were envisioned for two of our honored sisters. These rituals are memorialized in the file section of our Yahoo Group site for those sisters wanting more meditational afterthought of their magical moments. I hope you all will consider the Yahoo Group site as a formal room to conduct our meetings and chat, as there is so much more that can be captured within a group than in emails alone. Visiting Santa Fe was glorious this time of year, with just the right amount of people, wonderful weather & uncrowded restaurant affair. My wish is for all of you to have a chance to visit my home state of New Mexico one day online or in person to add to this years theme of adventure!

So many personal lives have been touched this past month with school, sickness & travel. We give those blessings out to any in need, pray for those that have lost loved ones, & live through others' adventures. Online gives us the taste of BSP life through our imagination, which goes beyond those that are in land chapters with contact meetings. Our lives are enjoyed daily, with doses of wisdom, meditation & consistent caring without the effects of eccentric dress, money influences or community standing. The Cyber Council invite means even more contact, sharing & communication between our loving online sisters, bringing us closer at heart & in mind. Let's get involved with Site or Group or Space activities, with those things you enjoy most & with subjects you love sharing. Sometimes it is easier to just keep up with your own personal spaces, sites & stores, so please add your personal links here or elswhere for us to find, search & follow your pixie dust dreams!
Beginning Day by Dianne was a glorious beginning for us also to look forward to new changes, while our program for August was to open our hearts & minds to online searches for the fine arts by visiting the Louvre museum. If you missed these programs or want to find them again, visit our Lambda Learning page. This site & the groups have been catching on quite quickly & enjoyably. We hope to be moving along nicely with additions into the winter months of less activity outside of our homes. I know so many of you keep checking back for pics & old details that were posted before, and these will be updated as soon as we get some new pics & personal pages to bring us all back together visually. Just send me your site links (llavendermoon), and I will add them to the Lambda Links page for everyone to enjoy! Some examples have been brought up during Cyber chatting for the cabin fever victims to keep busy. Book clubs, book exchanges, craft sharing, gift giving, spaces & groups of all kinds, freecycling, recipe swaps, photo pics, travel tails (tales), secret sisters, snail-mail pen pals, child adoptions, site-building, store hopping, etc...have been big hits in other online chapters. Why don't we give it a whirl & comment here for any of the imaginitive ideas you may have dreamed of doing or even those new necessities we can add for some exciting change? We have a couple new pages popping up. Little by little, we will be gathering up the photos, text files & pages made previously and adding them to this one. Remember, the background can be changed at any time with a variety of colors & themes that you may like better. We appreciate all of your creative comments on "Diotima's Guestbook", so don't forget to sign-up at "Lambda Registration". The registration button will turn into "My Profile" when you are finished.
Our featured page this month is "Fairy Cycling"! We talked last month about Freecycling. as Linda C. gave us a perfect program on recycling & reusing, which can be found in the "Lambda Learning" *Programs*. For more privacy for posting your goodies, try the Yahoo "Applications" tab to post your "For Sale" and "Give Away" items. Our "Fairy Cycling" eShop can feature any sale, trade or give-away that you may have for our Sisters to enjoy. It has a place to add your PayPal email for asking others to help pay for shipping or costs and many other options, including where & who to send the check to or a few other companies you may use instead of PayPal. Get your things ready & start crafting, because we are having our own "Fairy Cycling" program right here on our site! Try our Yahoo Group to provide an easier experience in jotting down those travels in the "Applications" section. Or for even faster service, post your travels by email safely & easily on the groups. Don't forget to add your favorite, family pics to our Yahoo Group by clicking on it in "Lambda Links". You may have to join the group, but it is well worth the effort, gaining you access to many more fun & fantastic features. I can then transfer them over to our "Fairy Friendship" gallery. |
