I grew up solidly middle class, in Oklahoma City, the only child of somewhat older parents (mom 25, dad 30) and predictably spoiled. Born in 1949, I've now lived in seven decades! We lived on a farm just outside Bennington, OK--southeastern part of the state--when I was born, but moved to Oklahoma City when I was two years old!

I completed my BA at Oklahoma City University, a private Methodist institution, in Dec 70, and started teaching Kindergarten in San Antonio, TX in 1971. After 3 1/2 years of that, I went to work teaching English as a foreign language for the US government in Jan 75.

I'll have my magic birthday (55) in July of this year and be eligible for full retirement (30 yrs) in Jan 05, but I've promised not to retire until at least Jul 06. I was married from 1978 to 1983 and have one daughter, who has one son. We've got a pattern going! Right now, I'm working as an EFL Specialist in Waikiki, still for the US government, and single (totally unattached, actually) and I'd like to find a 'special somebody' in my life. But not bad enough to actually go out looking!
